The regulars

The Hub is busy most weeks. These groups use it regularly, and between them they cover most ages and most days. Each one runs its own page, so we have linked straight to them. Go to the group rather than through us and you will get a faster answer.

Times can change between terms and blocks, so check with the group before your first visit. More groups use the Hub than are listed here. We are adding each one as we check what they are happy to have published.

Run one of these groups? To cancel a session, add one, or change your regular time, tell us on the page for regular groups, or email the Booking Officer as usual.

The farmers market

First Saturday of every month, 9am to 12pm. Stalls fill the hall, the green and the carpark, with produce, bread, plants, handmade things and coffee. Free to come along, parking on site.

It is the busiest day of the Hub’s month and the reason a lot of people know the place is here.

Very wet weather can force a market to be called off, because the ground has to be safe to park and walk on. If it has been raining, check the market’s Facebook page before you set out.

  • Market day at the Hub from directly above, stall canopies lining two sides of the green with shoppers between them
  • An aerial view of market day showing stalls around the green, the carpark full of cars and vans, and people throughout
  • Aerial view of the farmers market filling the green at the Hub, with stalls around all four sides

Pickleball

Run by a Hub sub-committee, but played at Trafalgar High School Sports Hall, not at the Hub, because the Hub’s roof is too low for it. Worth knowing before you turn up at Ashby Street with a paddle.

Monday 6:30–8pm and Tuesday 6–7:30pm. Book through TryBooking, or find them on Facebook. Questions go to the club direct at bookings.trafpickleball@gmail.com.
